About The office of Communications

Communications is responsible for the development and implementation of comprehensive communications strategies to reach multiple University audiences and constituencies. The office is also responsible for media relations for the UNC System President and UNC Board of Governors. The office acts as a liaison between the President’s Office and communications officers for all UNC System campuses and affiliates and various state agencies. 

In addition, Communications writes and produces stories of interest to the people of North Carolina. View all news stories.

The office also markets and maintains the University branding resources and logos and provides oversight of selected publications and special projects.
