The Division of University Advancement offers professional development support for the 17 institution-based Advancement Offices, helping to build capacity, creating shared services, and coordinating professional development for administrative and volunteer leadership. It also has responsibility for raising private funds for inter-institutional and University-wide priorities. In addition, it puts special emphasis on helping to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the University’s smaller institution development programs and brings together campus development leaders as part of the UNC System Advancement Council.
